Overview of the Malden Public Schools: The Malden Public Schools (MPS) is a richly diverse school district located within the Greater Boston area and accessible by the MBTA orange line train.  Malden’s student body comprises approximately 6,800 students who represent 59 different countries and speak 67 different languages. Description:

The Math Assistant will provide math instruction to an identified at-risk population. The Math Assistant will work with the specialists, school Math coach, and the classroom teachers to design and teach intervention lessons that meet the specific needs of small groups or individual 

students.

Terms of Employment: 19 hours per week at $28 per hour 

 

Funding Source: Title I Grant

 

Start Date:  September 30, 2024

 

End Date: June 6, 2025
