The Ferryway School Community:
The Ferryway School is one of the five K-8 schools in Malden. We are the home of the Ferryway Phoenix and pride ourselves in teaching the whole child through the lenses of equity and belonging. Essential Functions, Responsibilities, and Duties:

Job assignments may consist of serving breakfast and lunches, completing paperwork, learning and using various kitchen equipment, preparing food, operating cash registers, cleaning and any other duties consistent of running a lunch program at the school.
- Must adhere to all Whitsons policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Competecies:
- Ability to work effectively with fellow workers and others.
- Ability to lift up to and possibly more than 40 pounds.
- Ability to learn the use and care of equipment, materials, utensils, cash registers, and methods used in food service.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must have transportation and be willing to be sent out to any one of our 7 schools
- Preferred experience in cash handling, working in a food service setting, or in a school breakfast & lunch program.
Report To: Director of Food Services
Hours: 3 hours per day
